IRONMAN 70.3 St. Petersburg 2021An Ironman 70.3, also known as a Half Ironman, is one of a series of long-distance triathlon races organized by the World Triathlon Corporation (WTC). The “70.3” refers to the total distance in miles (113.0 km) covered in the race, consisting of a 1.2-mile (1.9 km) swim, a 56-mile (90 km) bike ride, and a 13.1-mile (21.1 km) run. Each distance of the swim, bike, and run segments is half the distance of that segment in an Ironman Triathlon. |

Raphael Santi “La belle jardinière: Madonna and Child with St John the Baptist”From 21 July 2021, La belle jardinière – The Madonna and Child with St John the Baptist by Raphael (Raffaello Santi, 1483–1520) – is on display in the Apollo Hall of the Winter Palace. The Renaissance masterpiece from the collection of the Musée du Louvre has been awaited in the Hermitage since December 2020, when it was supposed to become part of the exhibition “After Raphael, 1520–2020”. Due to restrictions caused by the pandemic, La belle jardinière – the “Beautiful Gardener” – has only now arrived in Saint Petersburg, but, thanks to that, the large-scale “After Raphael” project has acquired a continuation in the form of the exhibition of a single painting in the Masterpieces from the World’s Museums in the Hermitage series. |

“Andy Warhol and Russian Art”The Artsolus Foundation presents the Andy Warhol and Russian Art exhibition, which reviews the work of one of the brightest personalities of the 20th century and analyzes influence of Andy Warhol and pop art on Russian artists of several generations. At the exhibition visitors can see more than 100 works by Warhol, including famous pop portraits of Marilyn Monroe, Mao and Liz Taylor, cans of Campbell soup, and rarer exhibits, for example, one of his sculptures “Brillo Box” – an object made of plywood boxes identical to supermarket boxes with stenciled logos of consumer goods. |

One of the leading masters of Russian impressionism, Grabar had a significant impact on the development of this trend in Russian painting. The exhibition dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the artist presents more than 120 paintings made in 1880s – 1950s. The exposition will include works from 17 Russian museums, as well as private collections in both Russian capitals. |
